Our educational consultants provide consultation to families and caregivers to help navigate the special education system.

Gain confidence in IEP meetings by learning how to ask the right questions. You’ll receive support with reviewing documents, developing questions, and clarifying goals. We can also observe your child at school, make recommendations, participate in meetings, and monitor progress throughout the year.
PARENT AND ADVOCATE TRAINING
Build your understanding of key educational principles, including FAPE, IDEA, and IEP terminology. You’ll gain practical knowledge that helps you collaborate effectively with your child’s school and help train others to advocate effectively.
SCHOOL OBSERVATION

SECONDARY TRANSITION PLANNING
If your child is 14 or older, we help you and your IEP team design a meaningful transition plan that supports functional life skills, pre-vocational, and vocational development — to help set your child up for long-term success.
OUTCOMES ADVOCACY
Problem solving IEP progress and implementation challenges. If IEP goals aren’t showing progress, you’ll get help reviewing data, rewriting measurable goals, and ensuring quarterly reports reflect meaningful growth. Together, we’ll focus on improving outcomes.

INclusion support services - ICEP and IEP Support
Inclusion advocacy and support within the IEP Process, as well as ICEP and IEP support in public, non-public, private and parochial schools. We also provide advocacy focused on dignity, respect and appropriate educational treatment.
Educational Consultation Service Areas: We provide educational consultation services in the Maryland and Washington , DC area. We offer remote IEP advocacy services for families and schools outside of the Maryland area, providing quality IEP advocacy and educational consultation for your child needs!
Anchor Educational Consulting LLC provides non-attorney educational consultation and IEP advocacy
Educational Consultants do not provide Clinical ABA Behavioral Services. If families hire Anchor Educational Services for ABA clinical services, we provide separate clinical services by licensed practitioners (available only in certain states). Clinical services can be found under: Other Services Tab.
What Does IEP Advocacy And IEP Consultation Look Like?
Free Consult - Discuss your concerns and vision for your child, and gain immediate insight into next steps.
Document Review - We will review your child's IEP and related documents to identify gaps, opportunities, and questions/suggestions for your child's IEP.
School Observation - We will conduct a classroom observation in your student's classroom to help you gain a clear understanding of classroom supports and barriers.
Educational Recommendations - Get a comprehensive set of personalized recommendations you can use to advocate with confidence.
Ongoing IEP Support: We also offer continued services for meeting prep, attending IEP meetings, progress monitoring, goal reviews, throughout the school year, so that you can have a knowledgeable and trusted partner for school meetings or throughout the year to help monitor progress for your child to thrive!
